The Better Life Concert in Toronto on August 25, 2012, drew some 2,200 people to praise and worship God, and to hear about his heart for the fatherless. It was the largest event in Coptic Orphans history.
Executive Director Nermien Riad asked the crowd: “How many have heard about Coptic Orphans before?” Only 5% raised their hands.
Still, 386 children found sponsors from the five Better Life North America concerts between August 17 and August 26, and nearly half of those from the Toronto concert alone.
For those children and their families throughout Egypt, this is much more than an event with historic turnout; it is an event that marks a new and brighter future.
